Some commonly asked questions.
Do I get the digital files?
Sure do! Every wedding and engagement I shoot comes with high-resolution digital files on a wooden USB drive, an online gallery and personal copyright release to print the photos.
So what is the deal with engagements?
My favorite! If you book a wedding with me, I'll do engagements for free. Simple as that.
Do you offer albums?
Yes! I love albums. I think they’re one of the best ways to remember your wedding day. I order them from a pro lab and offer them at a la carte pricing. I have a sample as well, so let’s grab some coffee and you can check it out!
Do you travel for weddings AND/or engagements?
Of course! I take every chance I get to explore new places, especially when there is a story to tell there. And if you're lacking for location ideas, I have plenty.
How far in advanced do you normally get booked?
Completely depends. I have been booked anywhere from less than a month to two years in advanced. On average though I usually book around 9-12 months out.
Do you always shoot with a second photographer?
Not always. Most of the weddings you see on my blog I have shot myself. I have a specific style that I think is my own, and it is hard to recreate with another shooter. I do however understand there are absolutely circumstances that are in need of a second shooter, so I offer an option to bring in one! Send me a line and we can chat about whether your event will be a good candidate.
What gear do you use?
I use top of the line Canon cameras and lenses.
How safe are my images/do you backup?
Super safe! My camera allows me to shoot images to two different cards at the same time incase of a card failure. Before I leave the venue I will backup to an external hard drive and then again to an offsite service when I get home.
Do my wedding photos last longer than my flowers?
Yep, sure do :)
